Duties and Responsibilities:

– Making sure that the supply and provision back-up needs are converted and configured into procurement and purchasing events by the compiled logistics undertakings and work operations with respect to their components.
– Coordinating day-to-day logistics operations.
– Preparing initial documentation regarding planning stages.
– Review contract plans and process reports based on findings.
– Present inventory distribution of warehouse according to standardized process.
– Provide assistance for maintaining logistics planning tasks.
– Conduct analysis to determine optimal solutions reducing overall freight expense.
– Partner with providers to ensure efficient and effective execution of defined processes.
– Re-route freight as needed to meet demands and minimize costs. Manage positive day to day relationships with carriers.
– Proactively communicate shipment information regarding route changes, delays, or early deliveries to appropriate internal and external customers.
– Provide reports to internal and external customers as required.
– Perform other duties as directed or assigned.
