Spanish Content Translator

Job Summary

Nagwa is looking to hire a talented individual who will be responsible for translating, writing, and copyediting documentation, explanation, and general instructional content for educational materials.

Responsibilities

• Translating, editing, and reviewing questions and solutions for mathematics, physics, and other subjects ensuring they are logically structured, easy-to-read, pedagogically sound, and in the correct style for the intended audience
• Consulting with subject matter experts to understand technical concepts and translate them appropriately
• Making sure translated content adheres to Nagwa’s in-house style guide and glossaries
• Using specialist dictionaries, thesauruses, and reference books to find the best equivalents for terminology and words used
• Communicating regularly with content developers in English, both verbally and in writing

Qualifications & Work Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in translation or any related field
• 3+ years working experience in translation
• Native or near-native command of the Spanish language
• Good command of the English language
• Clear writing style with creative flair
• Ability to relate to K-12 students

Compensation

• Monthly gross salary offered for this position is in the range of 7,000 EGP – 11,000 EGP.
